As our name implies, we are an on-call service that comes to you for your maintenance and repair needs. No need to co-ordinate vehicle drop-offs and pick-ups away from your home base. Schedule an appointment with us and have the mobility equipment in your vehicle serviced or repaired as necessary.
We specialize in mobility equipment, such as wheelchair lifts on vans and buses. We can also provide other services for your vehicles at your request. Services that include but are not limited to HVAC repair and maintenance[1], electrical equipment[2], mechanical maintenance[3], and repair[4].
We come to you
Wheelchair lifts should be serviced every 750 cycles or six months (whichever comes first). Servicing your wheelchair lifts is an effective preventative measure to avoid downtime or potential safety hazards.
Lubricate critical moving components.
Inspect for damaged components.
Test all safety features and compliance with FMVSS.
Make any necessary adjustments.Cleaning.
Perform 750 service.
Removal of pinch guards, pump module cover, and threshold plate.
Inspect hoses, wiring, fuses and relays.
Lubrication, and adjustment of components behind guards and plate.
Perform 750 and 1500 service.
Check and re-torque all mounting bolts.
Check all pivot pin hardware. Inspect all gas springs for wear and proper function.
Test and inspect power supply and signal to lift.
Hydraulic fluid service.
When issues are found, repairs can be made on site (dependent on availability of parts).
Factory trained and Braun Certified technician can come to your lot to ensure your equipment doesn’t fail on you when you need it most
[1] Heater and AC repair, refills, etc.
[2] Electric doors, lighting, PA, controls, camera systems, etc.
[3] Full-service maintenance, such as oil and filter changes.
[4] Limited vehicle repair.
F&A On Call Service LLC is a small family run business from Salt Lake City, which is our primary service area. However, we can and do perform services outside of the main Salt Lake City area[I] upon request.
Anything south of Bangerter Highway (UT-154), west of Mountain View Highway (UT-85), north of I-215, and east of the I-215 east corridor is considered an Out Of Area Service Call.
[i] Mileage fee of $2/mile travelled out of service area with a 2 hour service minimum. Total to be calculated and added to invoice.
